It’s been a tough week for Australia. From getting thrashed by India to sending their players home for trying to skive out of doing their homework, everything has gone wrong for the land down under. Apart from the imminent return of Devereux, that is. Plus the Compton/Root debate is put to bed once and for all.

A dreadfully dull final day was livened up only by watching everyone think up ‘hilarious’ new nicknames for Steven Finn.
It was a long night – but a memorable one, particularly for the handsome family Compton.
The third day of the first Test happened to coincide with record numbers of Australians seeking permanent New Zealand residency.

Xavier Doherty got his bowling average down to less than 73! Glenn Maxwell nearly took the first five wicket haul of his career! It’s been a great few days for Australia, apart from a few small details that we probably won’t get round to talking about.
